Notes: Thanks to the mods for running this fest and for letting me participate. I wanted to write something related to Pride month. The idea of first times and Muggle bars was one I couldn’t shake. I hope anyone that’s ever disco-danced their hearts out somewhere similar enjoys the story. The 2028 bar in Diagon Alley is at the same sort of point as today’s Muggle bars. The title is from ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ by Whitney Houston.
