Favourite Harry Potter movie: Not sure I have one. Possibly HBP just for the moment between Harry and Severus on the tower.

Favourite character(s): Um, you have to ask? Snape, Snape, Severus Snape. (Ok ok, I admit to a brief fling with Sirius waaaay back, but the polish wore off fairly quickly.) I like most incarnations of Severus: hero of the light, ambiguous loyalties, Harry's mentor/savior, romantic lead, postwar, eternal double agent.... I love dark/Voldemort-loyalist Snape too, but not one-dimensional Ever So Evil Snape. That is, *complexity* is what I like.

Second favorite might be a tie between Regulus, Poppy, Luna and Hermione. I do have a soft spot for Voldie, though. Also Draco, Lucius, Narcissa, Minerva, Andromeda, Tonks, Ron, Neville, most of the Death Eaters, Aberforth, Bill and Charlie, Ollivander. Harry I both like and don't like in different ways. Death Eater Poppy is a secret love.

Talk about Snape, a lot.

Interests outside of fandom: Personal or professional? I read a lot, fiction and nonfiction. I talk about film, write about film, watch films, think about film and lots of other things. German history and literature. I spend far too much time on the internet like just about all of us. When I have time/space I paint or draw; I'm also learning filmmaking. I like art, architecture, and going to museums of all kinds. Churches. Steampunk, gothy stuff, robes. Singing. Travelling. Grad student stuff.
