No, the comments are not visible. This fest is anonymous, which means that while writing submissions and during posting, no one will know who's writing/written what. The reveals of who wrote what are posted at the end of the fest. :)

okay. so my claiming form went through and is showing. dunno if someone picked those yet, but I hope they havent *or can people write about the same prompt?*

and I have a another question (sorry i keep asking questions but i never done a fest before and i dont want to screw up)

so like, it says that claiming is from the 7th to the 21st of february. and then due date is may 7.

but you said we do one prompt at the time. so like, do i have to finish one fic before i can claim more and i have till the 21st of february?

i'm confused on how the finishing one and then picking another one to do works with the due dates.

The claiming is from the 7th to the 21st of February, however, when you have claimed once and you finish that fic, you can claim any time until 7th May. All your fiction, however, must be completed by the 7th May unless you have an extension :)

Each prompt can only have one person writing and one person drawing for it. We will be sending out emails soon confirming that you have claimed the number prompt that you want.

like one last one, i think, do you think all prompts will get picked or some of them are left behind?

Anything I can do to help. But you have to be warned, once you participate in one fest, you'll become addicted to them. This is coming from someone who knows from experience. :)

There are a lot of prompts (over 300!) and we believe that there will be a lot left behind.

I know about going nuts and signing up for loads of stuff and then getting in trouble.
so like, i'm going to take it easy and do it one fest this time.

well like worst case scenario, I could save my not picked prompts and ask for them again next time. like, I can do that, right?

Prompts that aren't picked this time can be picked the next round as well. We will be allowing that. We hope some of your prompts are picked this time, but there is always next time as well. But as claiming will be going on for a couple of weeks, there is still plenty of time for them to be picked yet. :)

and like, when do you get in contact with us to tell us if the prompts we claimed werent claimed and we can work on them?

like you tell us on the 21st or earlier?
