Community/Fest Update!

Hello hprarefest!

It's recently come to my attention that my lovely co-mod and dear friend has had to take an unplanned hiatus :(

I'm so sorry for the lack of updates around here! I thought things were under control, until I started looking at the dates, etc.

So, I wanted to post a quick update to the community to appease any fears that the fest might not be happening.

I'll be checking the email and trying to respond to comments as soon as I can. But just so that everyone knows...

1) Yes, the fest is still happening! Posting will start on June 7 as planned!

2) If you've sent in a submission, we've most likely received it and you should get confirmation of that sometime this week.

3) If you have requested an extension, please consider it granted until I can reply officially and give you a more personalized date for submitting.

4) For any outstanding submissions, I'll push the deadline back to this Saturday, May 25. (unless you have an extension or have requested one and I'll be in touch about those!)

5) If you would still like to create something for the fest, we would love to have you! I know we've had a few dropouts and we will need some pinch hitters and fest fillers. (You don't have to choose a prompt - we'd love for you to create something for your own idea for any of your favorite rare-pairs!)

6) If you are an artist or know of any artists that draw rare-pairs, please to be joining us or pointing them our way!

7) If you might be interested in helping to mod this round of the fest, please let me know. (Duties may include help proofing/posting/pimping/etc).

Hey I am back from vacation and may have some time to help out.

I submitted a fic the requested a second prompt and submitted that fic -- so just wondering about the status for that -- but I will wait to get my confirmation email whenever.
