Despite hating him now, Severus has never quite been able to forget how he also had always loved, not only the magic, but his teacher too….

Anything else/Special Requests: My idea of dark magic is influenced by Jodel's (Red Hen's) theories - that is, dark magic is simply older, less tamed magic, not necessarily all evil/bad/etc. But it is relatively more dangerous to the caster.
What would be really awesome would be a complex, good-guy Severus with genuinely mixed feelings. Voldy can be as cold and manipulative as you like - if he wants to simply use Severus' feelings against him, fine. But if he has some shred of distant but real (if twisted) fondness for him, that would be fantastic.

He developed and tested the anti venom that saved Arthur. imagine his surprise when that moment came and he lay incapacitated in the shrieking shack and he felt through his dark mark that the dark lord was no more that [character] stumbles in and attepts to help him just as the time travel method activates, flinging them both back into a different time and place. snape of course is enraged that his perfect plan to finally escape his hated life has gone to hell, while the other character is devastated at loosing their whole life
