Summary: Theo knew a lot about masks, and his was tired of seeing, Potter's. So he takes Harry out of his element in an attempt to find the real man behind the mask.

Theo leaned against the bar watching Harry and his two friends at their table. Granger and Weasley looked too lost in each other to even realize that Potter’s smile was a bit forced, but suited the mask Theo noticed he wore around his friends. The idiots didn’t even know it was a mask and they’d known him for how long?

Gryffindor’s really were thick.

As soon as the two lovebirds left, Potter’s mask fell away, leaving the broken shell of the man visible. Savior of the Wizarding World and nobody seemed to notice he was broken inside, not even his best mates. But Theo recognized broken all too well, now it was only a matter of deciding whether he gave a rat’s arse about interfering or not.

When he saw that Potter was switching from Lager to Firewhiskey, he made up his mind and sauntered over to his booth, sliding across from him without so much as a ‘by your leave’.

“You know, Potter, eventually that mask is going to slip, then what are you going to do?”

Harry looked at him, scowling. “What business is it of yours, Nott?”

“I’m a Slytherin, I’m a master of masks, and before you ask, not the Death Eater variety.” He rolled up both sleeves to show that he didn’t take the Mark. He was supposed to, but luckily his father was killed before he was forced to be Marked. Ultimately, he was neutral in the war, not really caring which side won, as long as he could get on with his life. But that wasn’t an opinion he shared with other people.

Harry’s scowl lessened, but he was still frowning. “What do you want, Nott?”

“I don’t know, conversation? I was getting bored at the bar and once your friends left and you switched to whiskey, I figured we could drink together.”

“What, we’re friends now?”

“Merlin, no,” Nott said, frowning. “Just two people drinking. And perhaps getting out of here and going into London for a while where nobody knows either of our faces and no masks of any kind are needed.”

Harry eyed him shrewdly for a few long moments then shrugged. It said something sad about his life that he’d rather drink with someone he barely knew than his friends. But Nott was right he didn’t have to pretend to be anybody because Nott didn’t give a rat’s arse about him.

“Alright. Where in London?”

“There’s a club I go to that I think you might enjoy.”

“I don’t dance,” Harry said with finality.

“So sit at the bar and drink,” Theo replied, rolling his eyes. But he had a feeling that once he got him there, Potter might change his mind about things. “Listen to the music and forget who you are for a night.”

Harry liked the sound of that, forgetting who he was, even for just a night.

“If this is some kind of trick, Nott, I will hex your balls off, do you understand me?” Harry warned, his eyes turning dark.

Again, Theo just shook his head and rolled his eyes. He was not going to dignify the question with words. “Come on, Potter, let’s get out of here.”

They both threw back the last of their drinks, grinning at each other as the burn hit their throats and into their bellies. Harry threw some Galleons on the table to cover things and the two of them walked out the door together, with many gazes following.

“Do you ever get out of here and go to London?” Theo asked as they walked to towards the Leaky Cauldron.

“No, if I want space I just go home to Godric’s Hollow. Nobody bothers me there.”

“Right, so you become a Hermit instead, got it,” Theo said, his voice laced with sarcasm.

They walked in silence until they were out of Leaky and into the Muggle world.

“How far is the club?”

Theo looked around, smiling. He may not care much for Muggles in general, but he did love their world now that he’d spent so much time in it.

“About five blocks. I can Apparate us there or we can walk.”

Harry snorted. He would die before he let a Slytherin Apparate him anywhere!

“We’ll walk.”

“Suit yourself. I’d probably end up puking my guts up if we Apparated,” ‘Theo admitted. “Apparation and alcohol isn’t a good mix for me.”

Harry chuckled. “Yeah, Ron has the same problem. I’ve no doubt Hermione gave him a Sober Up potion before they Apparated home. Otherwise, she always gets covered in it,” Harry said, really laughing now. “She says he’s worse than the baby when she’s sick, which I kind of agree with.”

Theo didn’t like to think he had something in common with Weasley and the thought made him shudder. “In my defense, the worst I’ve done is puke on Malfoy’s shoes, and the way he sputtered and whined, it was completely worth it.”

Harry’s eyes widened. “You sicked up on Malfoy’s shoes? Cor, I would have liked to have seen that. I bet he threw a right fit.”

“You have no idea,” Theo said, grinning.

The silence was more comfortable now as they walked, both smiling for different, yet similar reasons.

“Do you see Malfoy a lot?” Harry asked, looking sideways at Nott.

Theo shrugged. “Not since he and Astoria got married. She keeps him on a tight leash,” Theo snorted. “I think he married his mum.”

“Well, Ron certainly married someone as bossy as his mum, but that’s about all the comparison that can be made. Hermione and Mrs. Weasley aren’t the least bit alike, unless you’re counting the way they use their wands. I wouldn’t want to piss off either one of them.”

“Weasley’s mom killed Bellatrix, didn’t she? Merlin, that was one insane woman. Scared me shitless to tell the truth. I’m not sure who did the world a bigger favor, you or Weasley’s mum,” Theo said, knocking Harry’s shoulder with his own.

“Oh nice,” Harry grumbled good naturedly.

Before Harry knew it, they were at the club and he could hear the pulsing bass and see the flashing lights through the open door. They both got their hands stamped and went inside and Harry stopped dead.

The dance floor was packed, but not like he’d expected. The club was full of men and most of them had their shirts off as they ground against each other on the dance floor.

Theo grabbed Harry’s arm before he could walk out. He leaned in close to Harry, talking right against his ear so he could be heard over the noise. “It’s alright, Potter. Nobody here knows you, alright. I’m not blind, I’ve seen whose arses you check out, and it’s not the women that walk by. Loosen up and have some fun. Who am I going to tell? I’m a regular here, so you could always get me back.”

The tightness in Harry’s shoulders loosened a bit and he took a minute to actually look at the men surrounding him. Most were well fit and attractive and Theo was right, nobody knew him here, so who cared?

“Right, I need another drink,” Harry said, walking through bodies to make his way to the bar. The fact that his ass got grabbed more than once on the way should have freaked him out, but he rather liked it he decided.

They got to the bar and ordered drinks and Theo leaned close again. It wasn’t until then that Harry realized that Theo had taken his shirt off as well. “Rule number one: Don’t take a drink from a stranger, it’s more than likely drugged with something. Rule number two: Keep a hand over your drink and use the stirring stick as a straw so nobody slips anything into it. If you leave your drink somewhere, forget about it and get something fresh from the bar. Got it?”

Harry ran the rules through his head, and having no desire to be drugged by anyone, he nodded quickly. “Got it.” He wasn’t sure where to look, at the men on the floor, or at Theo who looked pretty damn hot with his shirt off. His skin was tan and while he didn’t have a six pack, he had a nice four pack going on.

“Theo! It’s been ages,” a shirtless man said, sliding up next to him at the bar. “Come on, let’s dance.”

“Not tonight, D, I’m here with a date. Maybe next time.” As Theo said the words, his hand went to Harry’s waist, his fingers lightly brushing his skin just under the hem. Harry shivered, goosebumps covering his skin, and his groin tightening. It had been so long since he had been touched. Too long.

The man he’d called “D” looked Harry over, sneered, and looked back at Theo. “Oh come on, one dance.”

Theo leaned closer to Harry and his voice turned to steel. “Not tonight Demetrius, I have a date with me. Now sod off already.”

Pouting, Demetrius went back to the dance floor and Theo removed his hand from Harry’s back.

“A date?” Harry asked, his voice cracking slightly as Theo’s fingers moved away from his skin.

Theo grinned. “Look, Potter, I’m not going to leave you alone for a second in a place like this, not until you’ve got your feet under you and I can trust you won’t do anything stupid. Ninety five percent of these guys are here just looking to pull tonight. The other five percent are looking for something more, but their looking in the wrong the place. They want the nice club down the street for that.”

“So why bring me here, and not the ‘nice’ club where I didn’t have to worry so much?” Harry asked curiously.

Theo laughed. “Because there will be times when you’re one of the ninety five percent who are just looking to pull, so I’m showing you where to go when you just want to get fucked, yeah?”

Harry blushed, but nodded. Merlin knew he’d spent way too many nights wanking in bed thinking of men, it was nice to know he had other options now.

Theo looked out over the dance floor and the mash of bodies there. “Sure you don’t want to dance?”

Harry thought he heard a bit of hope in Theo’s voice that intrigued him.

“Can I keep my shirt on?” Harry asked.

Laughing, Theo nodded, grabbed his hand and dragged him out on the floor, keeping to the edges as much as possible. His pressed his body against Harry, using a hand on his hip to anchor him there was he began to sway to the beat.

“You can keep it on,” Theo said, “but it can get damned hot in here,” he warned.

Harry was already feeling hot. He could feel Theo’s erection pressing against his own and he moaned slightly as he pressed himself closer, grabbing Theo’s ass in both hands.

“Now you’ve got it,” Theo said softly before leaning in to nibble on Harry’s neck, making Harry’s mind go completely blank. He was completely lost in the pulse of the music, the pulse of his cock against Theo’s, and the way the other man was turning his neck into a pleasure palace.

“Alright?” Theo asked, pulling back to look at Harry, whose eyes were half closed.

“Hmmm?” Harry asked, finally looking up then blushing. “Yeah, I am, I just...it’s been...I don’t know what I should be doing,” he finally admitted.

“Anything you want,” Theo said, grinning. “I won’t complain, not unless you run away from me now.”

There was something in Theo’s eyes that Harry hadn’t expected to see. There was want, certainly, but more than that, it seemed as though Theo might actually give a rat’s ass about him after all.

Harry reached behind him, grabbed the back of his own shirt and pulled it over his head, tossing it aside with a grin.

“Better,” he said, sliding up against Theo again, gasping when Theo slid his body all the way down, then all the way back up Harry’s. Taking advantage of Harry’s open mouth, Theo kissed him, deep and hungry, wanting.

Harry was desperately hoping he wasn’t going to come in his pants. It was all too much, the feel of slick skin against slick skin, Theo’s hard erection pressing against Harry’s own, and sweet Merlin the man could kiss. If Ginny had kissed him like this, maybe he would have stood a chance at being straight, but at the moment his entire being was focused on Theo. Harry’s fingers were in Theo’s hair, delightfully messing it up as they kissed. By the time they pulled away, it was as messy as Harry’s natural disaster mess of hair.

Theo was grinning and Harry couldn’t believe he’d never noticed how blue his eyes were, how bright and shining. And his smile, his lips wet and red and swollen.

Swallowing thickly, Harry asked, “So are you one of the ninety five percent?”

For the longest time, Theo stared at him, a serious look on his face as his studied Harry. Finally, he spoke. “Initially, when we came here, yeah, I was hoping to get you into bed. But I didn’t expect...this,” he said lamely. Theo ran his fingers through his hair, looking anywhere but at Harry. “I think, for the first time, I might be a five percenter,” he finally said softly, looking at Harry. “How do you feel about that?”

“Are you asking if I’d want to see again?” Harry asked, his heart pounding wildly in his chest. “Something more than just a one night stand?”

Theo nodded once, then leaned in and sucked on Harry’s bottom lip, nibbling it and pulling back. Then looked at Harry waiting for an answer.

Harry grinned, his whole face lighting up. “Yeah, I think I could live with that. Besides, any reasons to make Ron’s face go bright red is always fun for me,” Harry joked.

Theo laughed. “Imagine Malfoy’s. Even better.”

Both smiling, they went back to their dance doing a bit of exploring of chests and backs and grinding cocks together. It was the first time Harry felt completely himself, despite the completely new experience of it all. This was what he wanted, what he needed in his life. Not Theo specifically, though he was certainly what he wanted now, but a man. Someone who knew him but saw past the Harry Potter image, the mask he wore for everyone.

For the first time since the war ended, he was just Harry, and he was happy. More than that, he was alive again, not just a walking shell of a human being, but alive!

“So, your place or mine?” Harry asked, a cheeky grin on his face.

I like this. It makes sense that someone like Theo who lived through the war but wasn't in the thick of things would be the person to notice Harry and just let him have some fun. There's none of the angst that comes with Severus or Draco (even though Snarry and Drarry are my OTPs) so its just some good old fun.
